However, things are not so easy. Emphasis will be on role playing and creative, cerebral solutions using the Classic Traveller (with DGP task modifications) rule set. Prizes (courtesy of Mongoose Publishing) will be awarded to best player.
2#2383Pendragon#5704 Perilous Adventure in King Arthur's Britain. You are a young warrior in Britain during the reign of King Arthur. When adventure presents itself, do you acquit yourself with Glory and honour, does a fair damsel speak well of you, or does your conduct bring you death or worse - shame? You may create a starting character (using 5th Ed. KAP), or use a pre-made character. An adventure for Pendragon 5th Edition.
nilBushidoCancelled due to a family emergency.

TableGMGamePlayers (6)Waiting ListGM's Notes:
1#5704Star Fleet Battles#0666;#2383Revisit the SFB of a simpler time: silhouette starship counters, rules smaller than the phone book, and a universe that was fun and quirky, not soulless and militarized. We'll be using the original 1979 rules and the three Expansions, but avoid "winning through errata". Format to be determined by participants (1-on-1 duels? free-for-all? fleet battle?), with the goal being to have a good time, not cutthroat rules lawyering.
2#0333OD&D#8821;#7736;#8770 ;#8370;#1017;#5443The Dwimmermount Campaign run by Grognardia's James Maliszewski. Explore the first level of the Dwimmermount megadungeon, known as the Path of Mavors, with pre-generated 1st-level characters.
3#1953Expedition To The Barrier Peaks#6421;#7300;#5046;#7009;The big, legendary module written by Gary Gygax that was a successful mix of scifi and fantasy. Explore a fallen space ship masquerading as a mountain in the World Of Greyhawk. Froghemoth! Note Bene: This is a two session event.
4#2432Aftermath!Adventure in the Wizard's Tower. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic (Clarke's Law): in the Aftermath, there *will* be magic - and adventurers worthy of a quest to obtain it... A 25-years after adventure, characters to be provided.

How have RPGs changed?Ed Greenwood; James Maliszewski; Alex Von Thorn; Glenn Pearce; Chris Cunnington (moderator)OSRCon is about role playing games from the era when they were invented.
